The CLL-M2 ordnance lifter was Cybot Galactica's military version of their CLL-6 binary load lifter and was developed during the final years of the Old Republic. It's massive size made it the perfect labor droid for military operations, where oversized components and heavy ordnance had to be moved on a regular basis.
The droid stood on powerful durasteel legs, which in turn were anchored by two magnapod disks. Its arms were made to handle cargo skids and missiles, while the primitive cognitive module stood at the center of the droid, covered by a single, large photoreceptor.
In order to handle objects heavier than itself, the CLL-M2 was equipped with a repulsorlift counterweight that developed a reversed field of influence. Instead of pushing the back end of the load lifter up, this reversed field pulled the CLL-M2 back toward the ground, locally increasing the pull of gravity to compensate for heavier cargo.
The droid was set to obey verbal commands by its operators, but only spoke Binary itself.
