of 1994. Special thanks to Lance Uppercut for capturing and sharing
the cutscene! You can find this video clip in the Video
Game Scenes section. If you have a movie clip or scene from any
video game in a AVI, MOV, etc. format, please send it in! Enjoy!
"Rumours about the pre-production of Star Wars, the live action
series, to be shot in Australia, have been confirmed by several inside sources.
The quality and style of writing that will be used will be of the highest
quality, and local, and writers will be sourced from outside traditional Science
Fiction shows. Several big names within the Australian industry (including
writers from the Award-winning Love My Way and the Award-winning Secret Life of
Us) have been approached by Star Wars uber-producer, Rick McCallum.
Love My Way and Secret Life of Us can be characterised by the focus on
relationships and emotional landscapes (traditional 'chick shows', if you will).
Bringing this element into the world of Star Wars sees a marked departure of the
final three films and animated Clone Wars, where the primary audience was
children.
This throws the new series into a whole new spotlight, and should excite fans of
the Star Wars universe looking towards more adult fare.
More solidification of rumour into fact will come as soon as possible."
I hope that Comic-Con will finally start to reveal a little information about
this new series.

Our good friend Mark from Lightasabre
has provided the third and final part of the three part interview with
Anthony Daniels who is best know for his role as C-3PO.
Q - Well now
that you're doing the Clone Wars Threepio's adventures can continue
throughout that time period and possibly on to other shows, are you
pleased about that, are you happy to be his voice again?
A - I'm very
pleased, I'm pleased they look so good. The artwork on those
cartoons is terrific. The scripts are going to get even better.
We've talked a lot about the storylines. I'm very, very happy.
The film had a bit too much gunfire action for my taste, but I'm not the
target audience really so hopefully they will become a little more...not
cerebral, not intellectual but a little less bang-bang.

Our good friend Mark from Lightsabre
is celebrating 10 years of being on-line and providing fans with the best in
Star Wars fiction and Interviews! Many fans have started Star Wars websites
through the years and they have since gone the way of the dinosaur. Most do not realize
the effort it takes to week in and week out produce a quality site that fans
want to return to. Mark has accomplished that and so much more! I would like to
wish them continued success and here is to another 10 years! Congratulations
Mark and Lightsabre! Take a look at where Lightsabre began:
Today's new video clip in the Movies Section
is the Fan Film entitled Tales
of the New Republic. It was a film released with much anticipation
on May 25, 2007.
There was a lot of speculation at the time that this film was a trailer
for The Clone Wars 2008 series. It was actually a class project at The
Digital Animation & Visual Effects School in Orlando, FL and I am
sure it was done to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Star Wars. The
film plays like an animated trailer for a possible new series and is
very well done. A must see! You can find this video in the Fan
Films section. Enjoy!
Today I have updated Droids Cartoons The Trigon Unleashed
and A Race to the Finish

copy. I have also updated Blue
Harvest

The
Official Star Wars Site
has announced that Lucasfilm Ltd. and G4 are joining forces for a milestone in
San Diego Comic-Con International's 40-year history -- the first-ever, exclusive
television broadcast of a presentation from the massive pop culture convention.
The Star Wars Spectacular! will air Saturday July 25th at 2:00pm ET/PT
only on G4, and will feature never-before-seen footage, breaking news, surprise
announcements, guest stars and more. In addition, G4 will present three hours of
live coverage from the Comic-Con floor, beginning at 4:00pm ET/PT.
Traditionally, details surrounding Lucasfilm's primary panel presentation are
closely guarded secrets, with only 6,500 lucky on-site fans allowed access to
the wealth of coveted information from a galaxy far, far away. But this year, G4
-- the network that delivers all of the latest and greatest news on comic books,
games, technology and pop culture -- is offering TV viewers the one-of-a-kind
opportunity to share the excitement with an exclusive broadcast of the panel.
G4's Attack of the Show hosts Kevin Pereira and Olivia Munn will join
Lucasfilm's Steve Sansweet and a galaxy of guests from Star Wars: The Clone
Wars and beyond -- including supervising director Dave Filoni, and voice
talent from the show -- to provide an insider look at the Star Wars
universe, with never-before-seen footage and a LIVE table read of an exclusive
new Clone Wars script.
In addition, fans are invited to participate in the panel itself by
submitting Clone Wars questions through
a special G4 micro-site. Questions will be answered during the live
presentation by Dave Filoni and other Clone Wars creatives!
2009's Comic-Con International also marks another Lucasfilm milestone -- the
launch of the all-new Star Wars Stories Project. Fans of the Saga will
have the unique opportunity to become a part of the Star Wars universe by
contributing to Lucasfilm's own historical archive. Soliciting movie memories
and nostalgia, the Star Wars Stories Project invites fans to share their
own tales of fandom through video testimonials. In addition to online
submissions, fans will have the opportunity to record their stories at
Lucasfilm's pavilion on the Comic-Con floor.
Fans are invited to upload their fan stories at g4tv.com/comiccon.
The two-hour special broadcast will be hosted by G4's Olivia Munn and Kevin
Pereira.
