Lieutenant Lepira was a Human male who had learned to fly a starfighter in the Anoat system. He was present in the Great Temple on Yavin 4 during the briefing prior to the Battle of Yavin, sitting near Elyhek Rue, Luke Skywalker and Wedge Antilles. Lepira was a member of the Starfighter Corps of the Rebel Alliance who flew a Y-wing under the callsign Gold 4 with his astromech droid R5-F7 at the Battle of Yavin. Lieutenant Lepira was killed in the assault against the first Death Star.
