Today's first new video clip is the Star Tours 2 grand opening processional. Just after the grand opening celebration for Star Tours 2 at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Star Wars creator George Lucas and Disney CEO Bob Iger led a character-filled processional through the park that also included Star Wars stars Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Daniel Logan (Young Boba Fett), James Arnold Taylor (voice of Obi-Wan Kenobi in The Clone Wars) and Ashley Eckstein (voice of Ahsoka Tano in The Clone Wars). | Andrew Ravenwood's Digital Art Updated | |
Today I have updated the Andrew Ravenwood Collection. Remember that these images were created in the late 1990's through the early 2000's and Andrew has graciously allowed me to provide his artwork once again to Star Wars fans. The next image provided in Andrew's Digital Art section is entitled "Ambush-Special Edition." Look for more images from his collection on a regular basis. Today's first new video clip is the first trailer for the upcoming fan film entitled "Sidewalk Wars." Leo from the crew was kind enough to let me know about their cool new project that will be releasing soon. A small band of rebels struggle to protect a precious artifact from the hands of the evil Galactic Empire, neither side understanding it's true power and purpose. Be sure to learn more about this film at www.sidewalkwars.com. The special effects look really great and I am sure this film will be on my list of top fan films. The Official Star Wars Site has provided a look at Star Wars: Jedi -- The Dark Side #1 which releases this week. Twenty-one years before the events in Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn is dispatched to prevent the outbreak of a civil war on the homeworld of his Padawan Xanatos--whose father is king. It is a mission that will lead Qui-Gon into close contact with the dark side and start him on a quest that will have a major impact on the future of the Jedi Order! This series is the perfect opportunity for new readers to get onboard with Star Wars comics, set in a wild and wide-open era of the Star Wars mythos. This issue is written by Scott Allie, with art by Mahmud Asrar, colors by Paul Mount and available in two covers -- a 25th anniversary cover by Stéphane Roux and a standard cover by Mahmud Asrar.

| Possible Update Changes At Galactic Voyage | |
There may be some serious changes in the amount of updates moving forward at Galactic Voyage. I was recently "downsized" at work, but have been able to secure a lesser position with the same company. To that end, I will have to travel several times the next few months to learn a new job which may result in little or no updates. However, the plan is to try to keep everything normal from the road. As more information becomes clear about my new job role and responsibilities, the more I can determine if the lack of updates will be more of a permanent situation. The plan is to keep things running as smooth as possible moving forward, but the reality is that things may change. If they do, I will make decisions based on those new realities and will keep you all informed. Thank you for your understanding.
