"Bridging the Saga" and it shows Spoilers

is definitely confirmation of many things we have reported on in the
past. Spoilers

Classic Trilogy Scholastic Books |
The Official Star
Wars Site reports that with the long-awaited debut of the Star
Wars trilogy on DVD this fall, Scholastic Inc. joins the celebration
with a trilogy of new junior novelizations written by Ryder Windham.
These new novelizations adapt each episode of the classic Star Wars
trilogy with a fresh perspective afforded by the imminent completion
of the entire six-part Star Wars saga. Windham, a Star Wars
authority who has written numerous books and comics, offers new
insight into the characters and events that weren't possible back in
the '70s and '80s when these films first debuted.
Each paperback novel is 160 pages long, and features wrap-around
cover designs. They are scheduled for release this October.
Joining this trilogy is the return of the The Complete Star Wars
Trilogy Scrapbook, by Mark Cotta Vaz. Originally published in 1997
to commemorate the theatrical release o! f the Special Editions,
this photo-packed paperback examines all aspects of the Star Wars
galaxy, from the main heroes and villains, to the exotic aliens and
world of the classic trilogy. Sporting a brand new cover, this
64-page book is also slated for release in October.

Hasbro's Star Wars
Q&A |
Hasbro.com
has provided a couple of answers to some questions from
collectors.
Q: I
haven’t seen many 12” figures at retail. Were they
cancelled?
A: No! As a matter of fact, as part of our Original Trilogy
Collection, three 12" figures will be available at most fine
retailers this fall in vintage style packaging: Luke Skywalker, Boba
Fett, and Stormtrooper. Check out the Republic News postings
from Feb 13 and May 12, 2004 for more details.
Q: What are
the names of the figures included in sets 3 and 4 of the Jedi
Council Scene Packs?
A: Set 3 will include Stass Allie, Agen Kolar, and Shaak Ti. Set
4 will include Saesee Tiin, Adi Gallia, and Anakin Skywalker. Both
scenes will be available this fall exclusively at Toys R Us.

I really love this image! Thanks Craig! It has all the evil necessary
to be a great Episode III shot. I hope we see this scene just as
Craig has imagined it. Be sure to see all of
Craig Burt's Paintings on Page

Hyperspace Woes-Rant |
My membership to Hyperspace was scheduled to be up on June 11, 2004
even thought I had originally chosen an option to automatically
renew the subscription every year. When the expiration date was
seven days out, I got an e-mail saying I needed to renew. I figured
because of the fan club switch, this was a good reason and as luck
would have it, I was right. I went ahead and renewed and was waiting
for my "new registration code" but day after day it did
not come.
The last day before my paid subscription was to expire, I got
another e-mail stating that I needed to renew my subscription. I
knew I had done that, so I ended up calling the number to receive
information about Hyperspace problems. (You can try (866) 205-0034)
The customer service agent had informed me that my subscription was
indeed renewed, but due to the switch of the fan club to new
ownership it would take 48 hours to receive my confirmation
information. I then asked if my service to Hyperspace would be interrupted
due to the fact that the date of expiration would have passed. I was
assured it would not because I was "paid in full."
Well, today is more than 48 hours and I have still not gotten any
information. I called again to complain when I tried to log in to
Hyperspace and I was not granted access. I now have pop-up messages,
and have lost all of my settings. I am also afraid that my date of
being a member since the old days in the last century would be gone
as well. I don't want to look like a "newbie" with a join
date of June 2004!!! I am a hard core old schooler and deserve
better treatment than this. I have been told that it will be at
least another week before I will be able to log in again. What am I
paying for? If the company is not ready to make a switch due to infrastructure
problems, then they should wait until they are. If I wasn't so
hooked by Star Wars, I would have told them to take a flying leap a
long time ago!!
I hope those of you who are trying to renew their subscription
are having better luck than I am because the Force certainly isn't
with me! If you are thinking of joining for the first time, you
might want to wait a month or so until they have the bugs worked out
of the system.
