Although
it was probably accidental, were you worried about the similarities
between the Kaminoans and the A.I. aliens?
The design similarities between the Kaminoans and
the A.I. aliens (which were actually robots) were
coincidental. I believe that George Lucas was trying to evoke the
idea of the classic almond shaped alien. A.I wasn't our
concern, but Jedi Master Yarael Poof, a long necked Jedi seen on the
Jedi Council in The Phantom Menace, was. He was removed in Attack
of the Clones and replaced with Jedi Master Coleman Trebor so
there wasn't any confusion that a Kaminoan was on the Jedi Council.
