EUCantina
Interviews Jennifer Hale |
Our good friend and fellow Sworian
Andrew from EUCantina sat
down for an interview with Jennifer Hale who played Bastila Shan in KOTOR and
Aayla Secura in The Clone Wars TV show.
"I'm e-mailing you today in regards to a recent Cantina Chat (our interviews)
episode of EUCast, the official podcast of EUCantina.net. The crew sat down with
voice-actress Jennifer Hale to discuss Kotor, TCW, The Old Republic,
voice-acting, and much more!"
"As announced on the last EUCast, we do not have a regular episode this week.
Instead, we had the pleasure to interview voice actress Jennifer Hale. Jennifer
is recognized in Star Wars mainly for her work as Bastila Shan in KOTOR and
Aayla Secura in The Clone Wars TV show. Join us as we chat to her about the
profession of voice acting, her future appearances in Star Wars, her characters,

Star Wars Toys #1
For 2008 |
The Official Star Wars Site has
announced that Star Wars toys are #1 for 2008! Driven by the popularity of the
Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated television series, the Force remained
strong in 2008 as Star Wars catapulted to the Number 1 spot of all
traditional toy licenses, according to The NPD Group, Inc., Lucasfilm Ltd.
announced today. U.S. toy retail sales for the brand in 2008 exceeded $450M.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars was the single most popular licensed toy
property in 2008 according to data released by the NPD Group. It was also, as a
result, the top boys' toy license of the year.
During the 2008 holiday season, U.S. retailers reported the strongest sales
for Star Wars toys and products in the 31 years since the first Star
Wars movie was released theatrically, even as the overall retail economy
faced significant challenges. Be sure to read

The Clone Wars
Season 2 On Cartoon Network |
The Official Star Wars Site
announced today that the Cartoon Network has picked up the second season of The
Clone Wars. Was it ever in doubt?
After debuting to record numbers and claiming the #1 series across the entire
basic cable landscape in 2008 and through January 2009 with boys 6-11, Cartoon
Network announced today that it has picked-up a second season of the hit
CG-animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, from creator George Lucas
and Lucasfilm Animation. Slated to premiere in the fall of 2009, the second
season will continue to take audiences on new and exciting adventures, combining
the legendary storytelling of Lucasfilm with innovative animation. The season
one finale of Star Wars: The Clone Wars airs on Cartoon Network Friday,
March 20 at 9 pm ET/PT.
"We're trying to push the envelope even further in the second season," said
George Lucas. "In the features, I focused on telling the story of the Skywalker
family. With The Clone Wars I'm exploring far beyond that and we barely
scratched the surface in the first season. It's exciting to be able to take
people to all these new places in the Star Wars galaxy."
