The latest Padawan Post has arrived and here are some features for
you to enjoy:
Match the Music to
the Scene
A score is music that is written for a movie. John Williams has
written and produced the score for each film of the Star Wars
saga. For Episode II: Attack of the Clones the challenge was
to musically represent the film's main themes - Jedi action and
forbidden love - while supporting the story's many events, including
the foreshadowing presence of Darth Vader and the Empire.
"Match the Music to the Scene" is a new activity that
challenges you to listen to ten selections from Ep II's score and
then click on the correct scene in which you think the music is
from. The key is to really listen to the music, its mood and pace,
to help you make your selection. Turn up your speakers! You may
never listen to Star Wars the same way again.

Lore: Who Is the
"Chosen One"?
"The idea that Anakin was the Chosen One doesn't run with me.
He turns to the dark side and betrays everyone. What kind of a
Chosen One is that? True, in the end he did turn but it was all
Luke."
~ Padawan SomeStarWarsFreak
"By far Anakin is the Chosen One! He has more midi-chlorians
than Master Yoda!!"
~ Padawan generallee5
From Qui-Gon Jinn's first conversation with the Jedi Council about
Anakin, wise Yoda makes it immediately clear that Qui-Gon's opinion
that Anakin is the Chosen One is only an opinion. Many young
fans of the saga agree and have their own opinions about the Chosen
One, even though the issue has been answered by George Lucas. This
Lore feature considers some of the opinions that keep this debate
alive.
