Hasbro has announced that they have updated the basic figure numbering system. The Star Wars universe is constantly evolving. Jedi jump to the Dark Side, Padmé changes her hairdo, and Hasbro adds more basic figures to the plan. What's that you say? Since we last announced our basic figure numbering system for 2003, we have made a few additions of some outstanding classic and recent figures that we will re-introduce in 2003 for new collectors and fans. Much like we did during the Original Trilogy, these "re-released" figures will remain unchanged and will be decorated in the same fashion as their original release; however, each will come in the updated 2003 packaging and will include a figure base. Following is the revised list of the first twenty-seven figures of 2003, as well as the updated numbering system. Keep checking back for more updates. Happy collecting!
