JediconWV 2009

Our friend Steven has the latest on this years event!

JediconWV 2009 is coming up in just a few days, October 10 at the Kruger Street Toy & Train Museum. We have a few really cool guests appearing. Jon Seay is returning again, he is a former ILM employee and worked on the original Star Wars film back in the late 70's. We also have John Booth who wrote the recent "Memoriors of a Star Wars Geek: The First 30 Years" is joining us and doing a special presentation. And, Kim Simmons, creator of the website themanwhoshotlukeskywalker.com will also be doing a special presentation about his work as a principal photographer for Kenner Star Wars packaging back in the day.

I'm also pleased to announce that we will also be offering a special limited run of officially licensed posters at the show. These posters will feature the artwork of Lucasfilm artist Don Pedicini in which the original draft sketch was done by yours truly. The artwork will feature Darth Maul and will commemorate our "Phantom Menace at 10" display we have going on at the show as well. These posters will be VERY LIMITED and hand numbered. We will also have our typical vendors with plenty of merchandise, food, displays and kids crafts for everyone in the family to enjoy!

The show will run from 9am to 5pm on Saturday, October 10! Feel free to check out www.jediconwv.net for details and past shows. All proceeds from our shows benefit the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals!

Looks like it will be another great show! Be sure to get there if you can.
