Today's new video clip in the Movies Section is the tenth of GameTrailers' ten-part
series chronicling the history of Star Wars' numerous adaptations to the video
game world that was released September 16, 2008. I am making them available for
download in case you missed them the first time. Be sure to see Star Wars

LucasArts today announced that Star Wars® The Clone Wars™:
Republic Heroes™ is now available for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment
system from Microsoft, PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system, Wii™,
PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system,
Nintendo DS™ and PC.
Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes allows
players to fight as both Jedi Knights and clone troopers through over 40 unique
missions, all created from shared visual assets from the TV series. Featuring a
brand-new storyline, players get the chance to take part in the key events that
lead directly into the highly anticipated second season of the animated series,
Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Jedi characters can slice and dice their way through
countless enemies, commandeer droids and show off their combat prowess on foot
and in a variety of vehicles. Clone troopers fire things up with a heavy weapons
armament that includes rocket launchers, thermal detonators and even jet packs
in levels built specifically to take run-and-gun gameplay to exciting levels.
To capture the Jedi Master and Padawan dynamic, as well as the squad
camaraderie of everyone’s favorite clone troopers, the game also supports two
player local drop-in and drop-out cooperative play on the Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION
3 and Wii. Families have made the television series a cross-generational success
and now they can truly experience the most authentic Star Wars: The Clone Wars
video game experience together.

Our friend Steven has the latest
on this years event!
JediconWV 2009 is coming up in just a few days, October 10 at the Kruger
Street Toy & Train Museum. We have a few really cool guests appearing. Jon
Seay is returning again, he is a former ILM employee and worked on the original
Star Wars film back in the late 70's. We also have John Booth who wrote the
recent "Memoriors of a Star Wars Geek: The First 30 Years" is joining us and
doing a special presentation. And, Kim Simmons, creator of the website
themanwhoshotlukeskywalker.com will also be doing a special presentation about
his work as a principal photographer for Kenner Star Wars packaging back in the
day.
I'm also pleased to announce that we will also be offering a special
limited run of officially licensed posters at the show. These posters will
feature the artwork of Lucasfilm artist Don Pedicini in which the original draft
sketch was done by yours truly. The artwork will feature Darth Maul and will
commemorate our "Phantom Menace at 10" display we have going on at the show as
well. These posters will be VERY LIMITED and hand numbered. We will also have
our typical vendors with plenty of merchandise, food, displays and kids crafts
for everyone in the family to enjoy!
The show will run from 9am to 5pm on
