The Official Star Wars Site has announced that a couple of new hardback Star Wars books are on the way for next year!

An artifact from Alderaan containing secret codes used by the New Republic resurfaces at a shady Mos Espa auction, and Han and Leia voyage to Tatooine to secure it. While on the desert planet, Leia finds evidence of her father's past that cause her to rethink some of her firmest held beliefs.

Tatooine Ghost, a new hardcover novel by Troy Denning, is scheduled for release in February 2003.

Also, Matthew Stover, author of The New Jedi Order novel Traitor, returns to the Star Wars galaxy, this time in the prequel era. The Clone Wars are spreading throughout the Republic, and Jedi Master Mace Windu must undertake a mission to recover a wayward Jedi. Star Wars: Mace Windu: Shatterpoint is scheduled for release in June of 2003.
