As announced in November at the 10
Anniversary of Galactic Voyage, the great new feature Galactic News is almost
here! What is Galactic News? It will be the latest multimedia feature and it
will be listed in the Movies Section. This video
feature will include periodic reviews on The Clone Wars episodes, latest
happenings in the Star Wars community, interviews, and more! Stand-by!
TVGuide has provided an
article about the upcoming debut of the young Boba Fett in The Clone Wars. The
plot has Boba seeking revenge against Mace for beheading his father, Jango—one
of the big events in Episode II—Attack of the Clones. And the kid’s got a
nefarious backup team, including Bossk, the lizard bounty hunter from Empire,
and Aurra Sing, the chalk-white Jedi killer first seen in Episode I—The Phantom
Menace.
Supervising director Dave Filoni says, “The fans are insane
about Boba Fett and never got enough of him in the films. This is our chance to
get inside the mind and heart of a child who’s trying to navigate the Star Wars
universe.” Word is, George Lucas himself pushed for this story.
It will be interesting to see where George decides to take us in Boba Fett's
back-story. Be sure to read the entire article.
Today's video comes from CollegeHumor. It is
entitled, Galactic Empire State of Mind. He's got 99 problems but a Jedi ain't
one. The video is a parody of "Empire State of Mind" by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys.
Enjoy!

This video is a fan made teaser
for the upcoming Italian fan film Dark Resurrection 2 using footage provided
from their website. In my opinion, Dark Resurrection was the best fan film of
2007 hands down! It is cinematically gorgeous, the special effects are great,
and the acting is very well done. I am sure Dark Resurrection 2 will be of even
a higher quality and a must see! Once you have enjoyed this teaser, be sure to
see Dark Resurrection in
the Fan Films section. Enjoy!
Today I have updated Guy Lagacé's section entitled
Posters and Exclusive
Works. This is the fifth image for this section and it was Guy's vision of
the Sith Speeder from Attack of the Clones. Remember that this image was created
before we had details of Episode II and knew what the the speeder would look
like. Be sure to also see other great artists in the Featured Artists section. Enjoy!
