What
is your favorite Star Wars set that you worked on, or one
that you didn't work on?
That is a hard
question as there have been so many interesting sets and locations
throughout the five episodes, whether I worked on them or not.
In then end, I think
everybody has always felt very strongly about the whole of the
Tatooine world, and I am no different in that respect. There is such
a strong connection to the original films in Tunisia/Tatooine, that
when we went back there for Episodes I and II, we all felt as though
we were involved in a bit of film history.
So having to
reproduce the Lars Homestead for Episode II, and also create Mos
Espa and its Slave Quarters for Episode I, as well as a lot of the
Podrace scenes, was very exciting and challenging.
So all things
considered, I feel that the whole Tatooine experience for us on
Episodes I and II, was certainly one of our favorite experiences.
