In what ways will Episode III resemble Episodes I and II, and Episodes IV-VI?

Episode III is unique in the series in that it's the bridge that connects the original trilogy with the prequels. While at first this might seem like it's a restriction, it actually serves as an inspiration and constantly puts our ideas and designs into a context. When designing entire worlds from scratch, context is a valuable thing. We look at the artifacts and objects of the cultures of the original trilogy films not for a starting point, but for an ending point. Then we work backwards and ask ourselves what designs would've come before. In some ways Episode III is visually a bridge to Episode IV, but it also helps the story in that it is a tremendous contrast to the look of A New Hope.
