I was disappointed that Clones
didn't answer the question why some Jedi disappear when they die and some
don't. Will this ever be answered?

That's a good question. A really good question.
Only George [Lucas] knows that answer for real. Hopefully it will be illuminated in Episode III. I've asked him a dozen times and he always looks at me like, "What? Are you a fan?"
