I hate to post this news, but here it is: Kenny Baker, who plays the robot R2-D2 in Star Wars was recently held for drunk driving. According to The Sun, he was arrested for being just over the booze limit although he admitted having two glasses of wine before driving home after rehearsals for a play. "I'm on the lookout for a lady chauffeur if anyone can help, but I would prefer it if she was about 2ft 6in tall," he was quoted as saying. He was held in a cell for two hours and logged in a police computer. He was given a year's ban and fined 50 pounds. |
