Today's new video clip in the Movies Section is the
Star Wars Teaser
which provided our first look at Star Wars back in 1976. It did not yet have a
film score or even completed special effects. Star Wars debuted on May 25, 1977
in 32 theaters, and proceeded to break house records, effectively becoming one
of the first blockbuster films. It remains one of the most financially
successful films of all time. You can find this video clip in the Movie Trailers section. If you have a
movie clip or scene from any video game in a AVI, MOV, etc. format, please send
it in! Enjoy!

Guy Lagacé's
Probeshots |
Today I have updated Guy Lagacé's
ProbeShots with
another of his scenes. This is the seventh image for this section. This was
Guy's vision of Anakin and Obi-Wan chasing Jango Fett in Attack of the Clones.
As we now know, the chase was after Zam instead, but remember that these images
were his vision of scenes from movies that had not been created. We didn't even
know what Jango looked like at that time. Be sure to also see other great
artists in the Featured Artists section.
Enjoy!

The Force
Unleashed 360 and PS3 Multiplayer |
According
to a Lucasarts
statement regarding the multiplayer ability of The Force
Unleashed:
“To be specific, there’s no multiplayer in the Xbox 360 and
PlayStation 3 versions, because there is on the Wii, PSP, and DS. As far as
specific reasons are concerned, we don’t really like to get into the reasons why
we don’t do things because I don’t think there’s really a satisfactory answer
that people would really be happy with. So, there isn’t multiplayer and that’s
kind of how it is… ”
However, according to our friends at TF.N,
while game may not initially have a multiplayer, we could see a patch by
Microsoft early next year that will enable TFU to have Live, thus, a
multiplayer. Possible downloadable characters include Quinlan Vos, Mara Jade,
Assaj Ventress, Jedi Leia, A’Sharad Hett, Qui-Gon, Cin Drallig, Darth Desolous,
Darth Maul, Count Dooku, Jedi Brute (from the ROTS), Anakin, Yoda, Mace, Ben
Kenobi, Luke, Vader Paplatine, characters from the Legacy series and more. A lot
of EU goodies seem certain, if this is true.
At this point we’re being
told three patches are being worked on, but all this is currently a rumor.
However, if video games recall, this wouldn’t be the first time characters would
be patched on Xbox Live, as Battlefront II had it. Also, all current 360 cover
art shows the Xbox Live symbol, as seen here.
We will keep you updated on this!

Jimmy Smitts In
The Force Unleashed |
TF.N has an article stating that Adam Kahn from LucasArts was
nice enough to confirm that Jimmy Smitts is definitely involved in The Force
Unleashed. Unless they hooked him up to a computer to get his movements, it will
only be a voice character role. It does start to make you wonder if he will
reprise his role in the new CGI Clone Wars as well. Only time will tell.

Clip |
Today's new video clip in the Movies Section is from the
2005 MTV Movie Awards parody
of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith with Jimmy Fallon as Anakin
Skywalker.
Every year on the MTV Movie Awards, one or more movies are chosen out of the
most popular films of the year and spoofed. This usually includes a lot of sound
and video montage, replacing some of the original cast with other actors
(commonly, the hosts of this year's show), combining them with famous television
shows, and general mockery of the film's most notable aspects.
You can find this video clip in the Television Shows
section. If you have a
movie clip or scene from any video game in a AVI, MOV, etc. format, please send
it in! Enjoy!

information as to the good your purchasing the Sketch Book will do.
As some of you may know I was born with a hole in my heart and had Open
Heart Surgery when I was three to repair it. I am fine now, but really wanted to
give back to those who were there for me when I needed them. I am going to do a
limited print with all proceeds going to the American Heart Association. The
proceeds from the sketch book will go to the cost of printing, shipping, etc of
both the Sketch Books and the Print. Any additional money will go to the
American Heart Association also. I can't give out to much information on the
print yet do to approval, etc. but will keep you informed. For those of you who
already purchased one I thank you. For those of you who haven't order one yet
there is still time. I am only printing 250 so get them while you can. Each book
will have 24 gloss pages with a lot of my artwork I have done within that last
few years. You also get a black and white sketch with each book you order along
with a special promo foil card. Orders of more then 5 Books get additional promo
cards other than the foil ones (Set of 10 cards). Sketches can be done in the
book or on a sketch card. You can chose that on my site
I set up a page on my site where you can place orders using Paypal. When
you get to Paypal The first Paypal screen will ask for your Login info where you
can put Quantity, when you get to second screen you will see to the left a Menu

The Force
Unleashed Secret Apprentice Named? |
NZGamer has an article that finally reveals the name of The
Force Unleashed Secret Apprentice. "You may not have realized it but he hasn't
been given a name publicly, other than the moniker of "Secret Apprentice". That
is until now. Ladies and gentlemen, our anti-hero's name... is...
Starkiller."
"Die-hard Star Wars fans will find this name rather
familiar, and they should as it is the original name George Lucas intended Luke
to have back when Star Wars was nothing but thoughts and ideas in Lucas' head.
The name stuck until the forth revision of the Star Wars script where Luke
Starkiller was renamed to Luke Skywalker. A nice homage to what once was."
That is definatley a cool tie-in. Be sure to read the entire article! |
