LUCASARTS TO BRING ACCLAIMED FLIGHT ACTION GAME STAR WARS: BATTLE FOR NABOO™ TO PC!

Today the Lucasarts had a press release about the Battle for Naboo game. LucasArts Entertainment Company LLC challenges PC game players to unite against the evil Trade Federation and strike back on land, sea and air in the flight action game Star Wars: Battle for Naboo. Released to critical acclaim on the Nintendo 64, Battle for Naboo for PC features enhanced game resolution, textures, and a new interface. Star Wars: Battle for Naboo for PC is being developed in conjunction with Factor 5 and is expected for release in March, 2001.

In Battle for Naboo, players leap into a variety of Star Wars vehicles and traverse a wide range of environments while clashing with numerous Trade Federation enemies, such as battle droids, droid starfighters and AAT's. In the more than fifteen compelling levels, players experience new and familiar Star Wars locations while engaging in air-to-air, ground-to-ground, space and air-to-ground battles.

"Star Wars: Battle for Naboo is reminiscent of LucasArts' popular flight action game Star Wars: Rogue Squadron™, which also appeared on the N64 and the PC," says Joel Dreskin, senior manager of brand planning for LucasArts. "Battle for Naboo continues this tradition of bringing fast and furious action-arcade thrills to the PC with gameplay accesible to players of all skill levels."
