Daily Video
Clip |
Today's new video clip is a rare
look into some of the vintage items that were available in 1978 after the
release of Star Wars. Remember, there was no Internet, no DVDs, and not even
VCRs! The video features the Give-a-Show Projector and Movie Viewer. The Movie
Viewer was the only way to see actual moving scenes from Star Wars. Oh how I
wanted one of these. Enjoy!

LucasArts
Lay-Offs |
Kotaku.com has confirmed that LucasArts has laid off 85 out of
their 250 employees.
"LucasArts is reorganizing its teams to better address the needs of the
internal studio. Unfortunately, this means adjusting staffing," reads a
statement from the company. "LucasArts continues to be committed to creating a
first-class internal studio – and to fostering relationships with trusted
external partners – in order to deliver quality games that amaze and inspire
fans."
Lots of reorganization going on. I only hope it equals out to good things for
the fans. |
