| New Featured Artist-Holly Freeman | |
I am very proud to announce that Holly Freeman is our newest Featured Artist! Holly has been kind enough to allow Galactic Voyage to become one of the new homes for her excellent gallery of work. The first additions to her collection are posters that she created for a Star Wars Role Playing Game. We have added Posters 1, 2, and 3 of 4 with the fourth currently being created. Holly stated that, "they are inspired by my husband's storyline. Some of the characters in the RPG my friends and I have been developing for years and have histories and stories of their own. They are done with LetraSet three-headed markers from Pantone, although first I drew them from storyboards and concept sketches that were partially made up from SW books & movies and partially from imagination..." We are very honored to be able to provide these pieces for you! Thanks Holly! Also, you can find other great works by more very talented artists at the Featured Artists section. Enjoy!

| George Lucas Announced as Rose Parade Grand Marshal | |
The Official Star Wars Site has announced that George Lucas will be the Rose Parade Grand Marshal. As the Grand Marshal, Lucas will reside over the Rose Parade, which will include 200 costumed, marching 501st stormtroopers from more than 20 countries, as well as the world-famous Grambling State University Tiger Marching Band from Louisiana, also in costume. To reflect the 2007 theme of "Our Good Nature," two Star Wars floats -- one inspired by the Ewoks of Endor and the other by the garden planet of Naboo -- will also be part of the Parade. "It's an honor to be listed with all the other Grand Marshals," Lucas says. "There's a long line of great Americans and cultural icons of this country who have contributed, and I'm proud to be included among them." Be sure to read the entire article!
