The New and Improved
Essential Guide to Characters
The Official Star Wars Site has announced an update to one of my favorite series. Del Rey's popular series of Essential Guides has been keeping track of the most important characters, places and things in the Star Wars galaxy. Now, the first book in the series has been revamped as Star Wars: The New Essential Guide to Characters.
The 250-page paperback now boasts over 100 full color illustrations by artist Michael Sutfin. This marks the first time many new characters are depicted in illustrated form. Also, this Essential Guide offers a preview of several major players from Attack of the Clones, like Anakin Skywalker, Count Dooku, Padmé Amidala and Jango Fett.
The New Essential Guide Characters, by Daniel Wallace is scheduled for release on April 23 from Del Rey Books.
