The Art of Episode II
The Official Star Wars Site announces The Art of Episode II. For more than 25 years, the visual brilliance of the Star Wars films has captivated audiences far and wide. From lush worlds to intricate landscapes, from lavish costumes to amazing creatures, design artists and model makers have explored the Star Wars galaxy with a dazzling sense of wonder.
With Attack of the Clones comes a new gallery of stunning artwork developed in the making of the film, which will be showcased in The Art of Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. Author Mark Cotta Vaz provides the text that accompanies more than 500 amazing sketches, production paintings, sculptures and more. Also included are fascinating behind-the-scenes accounts from the concept designers themselves.
The book also includes the complete screenplay of the film, as written by George Lucas and Jonathan Hales. The Art of Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, from Del Rey Books, is scheduled for release on April 23.
