Star Wars Fan Club

The Official Star Wars Site has information on the Star Wars Fan Club, the Bantha Tracks newsletter, and the Star Wars Insider. Star Wars Fan Club membership kits will be new each year and have exclusive contents created just for fans of the Star Wars saga. While still not final, plans for this year's kit include:

  • Official Star Wars Fan Club Membership Card
  • Letter to members from George Lucas
  • Exclusive 3-D fold-together mini-standee
  • Travel destination postcards from the galaxy far, far away
  • Travel stickers from exotic Star Wars destinations
  • Letter from Lisa Stevens, President of the Official Star Wars Fan Club
  • Target shipping:--early fall, 2002.
Bantha Tracks will cater to the core Star Wars fan community, and include convention schedules and reports, features on and interviews with the fans themselves, and all the news that makes the world of Star Wars fandom...well...fandom.

Subscribers to Star Wars Insider will automatically be members of the Fan Club. Not only will they enjoy in-depth, behind-the-scenes Star Wars features delivered directly to their mailboxes in Insider, but they will also receive Bantha Tracks, and the membership kit. What's more, subscribers to Insider will now get 8 issues per year, up from the 6 issues that were produced before.

The price for Fan Club membership was previously $29.95, which included 6 issues of Star Wars Insider. Now, the price for 8 issues of Insider is $28.95, and the subscription includes Bantha Tracks, the kit, and membership in the official Star Wars community of fans.
