Episode II Widevision

The Official Star Wars Site has announced that following their first set of Episode II trading cards, Topps returns to Star Wars this November with the Attack of the Clones Widevision set, which tracks the storyline of Episode II through full-frame imagery pulled directly from the film.

The set consists of 80 cards -- 79 story cards and one checklist/title card. "There's a heavier concentration of the cards focusing on the end of the movie, from the droid factory and on. That's a lot of the footage that was being worked on right up until the last minute, so it wasn't available for us to get into the first set," says Topps editor Matthew Saunders.

The chase cards for the series consists of autograph cards, signed by talent featured in Episode II. "We're still negotiating, but to date we've got about 22 confirmations and we're hoping to bring in a few more," said Saunders. For more information go here!
