Star Wars
Live-Action TV Series Update |
Tosche Station has an interview with Rick McCallum on Star
Wars, Young Indiana Jones, and the upcoming Star Wars live-action TV series. In
the interview, McCallum states that:
- "George Lucas has been working for the last seven to eight months on the
story arc and where the TV series will go."
- "We are so excited to make the TV series because it’s much more character
driven, you make a mistake one week and fix it the next week."
- "If we can get it right, we have some fantastic characters that nobody has
ever met before and start a whole other world of Star Wars that comes out every
week instead of every three years."
- "Hopefully we will have finished the first episode by the end of 2008, so
that in 2009 it can come out."
Be sure to read the entire interview or download the MP3. |

Fearless and unswervingly loyal to the Emperor, Stormtroopers are
the most recognized symbol of Imperial might. Encased in white armor over black
body gloves, Stormtroopers make up the bulk of Palpatine's ground-based armies
and the space-based Imperial starfleet. Their fearsome looking helmets allow the
soldiers to breathe in the harshest of environments, including the vacuum of
space, and are equipped with long range communications allowing these elite
shock troops to be deployed with speed and efficiency to quell insurrections and
maintain order across the many worlds of the Empire.
