Are you a regular at Galactic Voyage and if not, how did you hear about the Galactic Fanatic?

I am a regular since I found it.  I found on the link list on an Ep. 2 site.

How did you get involved with Star Wars?

I had just gotten out of the hospital, after a back operation - it was my birthday and my brother asked me if I was up to seeing a movie - He told me I would love it- The movie was Star Wars IV -of course I went and the rest is history....

Which Star Wars movie is your favorite and why?

The Empire Strike Back. The dialogue, story, characterizations - just the asteroid scene alone was worth the price of admission.... The tempestuous romance of Han and Leia...

Which group are you the biggest fan of (Sith, Jedi, Bounty Hunters, etc.) and why?

The Jedi - the whole Force mythology is fascinating and thought provoking.

What are your most treasured Star Wars items?

The interactive Yoda.  I have one of the no. Star Wars Monopoly games. The making of The Empire Strikes Back paperback, that came out same week the movie did.

What is your greatest Star Wars moment? (Ex. First in line to see Star Wars, Had lunch with Carrie Fisher, etc.)

I got to see Empire 2 days before it opened, because a friend worked for the local newspaper and had to write a review and was given some extra tickets - We took the day off of work to get in the front of the line and he sat us in the best seats in the house. There was not one seat empty and we all sat there the whole movie with our mouths dropped open, marveling in the genius of it all.

What other hobbies or Star Wars facts would you like to tell us about?

I work at a local theatre as a prop manager which just helps me to appreciate the artistry of Star Wars, even more. I also want to say, I just saw ATOC at 12:05 AM, now I have an episode favorite that rivals The Empire Strikes Back.... (Fanatic Form submitted May 16th 2002)
