Nute Gunray’s lieutenant at the Battle of Naboo. A high-ranking Trade Federation official, Rune is ruthless during trade negotiations and notoriously views his business associates as enemies. Acting as Gunray’s legal counsel, Haako feared that the Trade Federation’s blockade and subsequent invasion would escalate further. Regardless, he performed his duties well, helping to ensure that Theed fell under Trade Federation control. Ultimately, however, he was captured alongside Nute Gunray by Queen Amidala and her followers.
