R2 units are known for expertise in computer uplinking, and R2-Q2 is no different. This black and white R2 unit spent several decades with the Imperial reconnaissance fleet, serving on many reconnaissance missions in the Expansion Region. This R2 unit had one of the most extensive maps and list of systems inside of its databanks. R2-Q2 was assigned to the Devastator's mission to capture the Tantive IV.
