Commander of the Trade Federation’s battle droids during the invasion of Naboo and the subsequent battle against the Gungans. Like all Command Officers in the battle droid forces, OOM-9 could be identified by yellow markings. He received his orders directly from the Central Control Computer aboard the droid control ship, which he then relayed to his troops. His backpack contained a powerful comm unit and an advanced power supply. He was deactivated, along with the rest of the battle droid army, when Anakin Skywalker destroyed the droid control ship.
