Today's first new video clip is Star Wars Farts. I am only doing this one because I know my older kids will fall on the floor laughing being they are at the age where they find flatulence hilarious. So, what is Star Wars Farts? According to the promoter: "We've made a one-hour remix supercut of Anakin, Obi Wan, and Padmé farting because we feel it is the only necessary Star Wars parody left to be made in a world with 40 year's worth of big screen and small screen Star Wars parodies." *Convince me that this isn't a joke.* "It is and it isn't. It's both a joke and a legitimate art project. It's supposed to be a really dumb idea because we want Star Wars Farts to be a satire of bad cash-in Star Wars parodies. We hope to create a black hole of absurdism so strong that it sucks up any future bad Star Wars parody inside of it." So, if you are interested in funding their Kickstarter project, go for it. | |

Today's new video clip is the trailer and look at the Star Wars Battle Pod arcade game. Star Wars: Battle Pod, is a dome screen arcade system designed to offer gamers an experience they can "only dream of." It's a game, according to the company, that you don't just play, you experience. The Battle Pod is a single seat Star Wars vehicle combat sim that uses a curved screen to drop players into the game, and the movies. Players sit inside the pod, using a flight stick and throttle to fly and fight their way through the Star Wars franchise. The 180-degree domed screen works in conjunction with a seat that uses low-frequency vibrations to deliver the feel of impacts and explosions, special fans used to mimic the feeling of acceleration and speed, vibrating controllers and 5.1 surround sound. | Darth Vader In Star Wars Rebels | |
The Official Star Wars Site has confirmed that Darth Vader will be in the broadcast premiere of Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion which will air on ABC on Sunday, October 26 (7:00 p.m. ET/PT). Executive producer Dave Filoni states, “We wanted to do something special for the ABC broadcast. We’ve added a scene which gives audiences insight into the Inquisitor and includes a cameo by Darth Vader voiced by the distinguished actor James Earl Jones.” We all knew he had to show up sometime in the show, but in a re-worked Spark of Rebellion? Interesting! I am so glad they were able to get James Earl Jones to voice the character. Several people do a nice version, but it isn't really Darth Vader without James Earl Jones. Be sure to tune in to see the animated Dark Lord of the Sith!
