Today's new video clip comes care
of the Star Wars
Blog and they state it best. This fan-made video tribute shows Anakin
Skywalker’s final moments as he recalls the days of The Clone Wars in the arms
of his son, Luke Skywalker. The video is narrated with Charlie Chaplin’s famous
speech from The Great Dictator alongside clips from The Clone Wars.
This
rousing speech, which was made famous from a film released during the early ’40s
that bravely condemned Adolf Hitler, fascism, and the Nazis, works all too well
juxtaposed against footage of the Emperor and the destruction he caused through
the manipulation of the people during The Clone Wars. Be sure to watch this
moving video. Enjoy!

Star Wars: Mercy
Kill Cover |
The Star Wars Blog has
announce that Del Rey has revealed the cover to Aaron Allston’s new novel due
out in hardback on August 7, 2012! Cover art is by Mike Bryan.
Here’s a description from the publisher:
Outcasts and misfits, spies and warriors, pilots and troublemakers — they’re
Wraith Squadron. Founded decades ago by ace pilot Wedge Antilles, this elite
intelligence unit, disbanded at the end of a catastrophic civil war, is reunited
by former leader Face Loran to find out whether one of the galaxy’s most
powerful military officers is a traitor… and whether anyone can stop him if he
is. To succeed in their mission, the Wraiths must become thieves, pirates,
imposters, forgers, and liars, staying just one step ahead of their enemies and
the law!

Stormtrooper Motorcycle Suits |
Universal Designs has a great Star Wars replica for you
motorcycle riders! As the backbone of the imperial army, the Stormtroopers are
the empire’s legions, a mass of menacing power in their awe-inspiring
armor.
Now, one of the most iconic uniforms in the Star Wars universe has
been exquisitely rendered in leather by the UD Replicas’ team, setting a new
standard in leather garment manufacturing.
Inspired by the classic Star
Wars imperial armor, UD Replica’s designers have raised the bar on what can be
accomplished working with form-molded leather. Each rounded segment, every
chiselled and bevelled edge perfectly replicates the look of the on-screen
armor.
Available in both Shadow Trooper black or the classic Stormtrooper
imperial white, each suit comes complete with built-in CE-approved body armor to
fully protect the motorcycle rider. If you want to ride in true Star Wars style,
have no doubts...this IS the suit you’re looking for!
Only 500 of these suits will be sold!
Sales of these suits clone on January 31, 2012 with delivery in the second
quarter (April-June). Prices are as follows and are in Canadian dollar
amounts:
Jacket: $598.00 CDN Pants: $329.00

Today's new video clip is the new
Choose Your Side: Imperial Agent vs. Jedi Consular trailer for Star Wars: The
Old Republic. From the moment we announced the eight classes in Star Wars: The
Old Republic, fans have been pitting them against each other, arguing who would
have the advantage in a one-on-one fight. The hallways of BioWare echo this
debate, with the writers, combat designers and other developers all chiming in
on which class they feel reigns supreme.
In the latest entry of our
series "Choose Your Side," members of the Star Wars: The Old Republic team plead
their cases for two iconic Star Wars classes, highlighting the many skills and
abilities that set each class apart. This time around, Senior Writer Alexander
Freed and Designer Ken Dilks argue in favor of the stealthy Imperial Agent,
while Writer Jo Berry and Designer Jason Attard speak on behalf of the
Force-wielding Jedi Consular. Enjoy!
