Raymus Antilles was the Captain of the Alderaan Diplomatic Cruiser Tantive IV during the time of the Clone Wars. He served the Royal Alderaan Civil Fleet under Senator Bail Organa.

Raymus Antilles was a native of the peaceful Alderaan, and the brother of Queen Breha Organa and former Senator Bail Antilles. He wore the iconic grey uniform of an Alderaan starship captain, and carried a target blaster. 

Following the transmission of Order 66, Captain Antilles recovered a Jedi homing beacon from the ruined Jedi Temple, encountering opposition from turncoat clone troopers in the process. The beacon helped Bail Organa locate Jedi Masters Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda. Captain Antilles transported the Jedi back to Coruscant, and later ferried the weary Masters to the medical center of Polis Massa. 

When Bail returned to Alderaan aboard the Tantive IV, it was in the company of droids R2-D2 and C-3PO, as well as Bail's newly-adopted child, Leia Skywalker. To preserve the truth of the girl's parentage, Bail ordered Antilles to have C-3PO's memory wiped, though R2-D2 was able to avoid this fate.

For the next nineteen years, Raymus Antilles would command the Tantive IV. Antilles was killed by Darth Vader on board the Tantive IV when he refused to divulge the location of the stolen Death Star plans. Vader physically strangled him, in a show of brute strength.
